The Upper Manyame Sub-Catchment houses the capital city of Zimbabwe with competing water use sectors such as domestic, industrial, institutional and agricultural sectors.
The Upper Manyame Sub-Catchment Council (UMSCC) has completed a series of dam maintenance projects in its jurisdiction. The projects, which were carried out in partnership with local farmers, were aimed at ensuring water security through dam safety.
The Upper Manyame Sub-Catchment Council held an awareness campaign in Banana Grove on Thursday, 18 May 2023. The campaign was hosted at the Makaza homestead and was attended by Brigadier Svovanepasi, Board Member, Sabhuku Musasa, field officers, and A2 farmers.
Upper Manyame Sub-Catchment Council has consistently been taking part in the national clean-up campaigns that were launched by His Excellency, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa on the 5th of December 2018.
