Due to the good rains that have been received in the Subcatchment, the previously experienced low dam levels have since risen to full capacity. This has seen most dams such as Chivero, Seke, Harava and Darwendale in the Subcatchment spilling.
The SubCatchment Council is actively involved in catchment protection activities such as waste removal, curbing unsanctioned activities (brick moulding, stream bank cultivation, river sand abstraction).
